Indian Ocean:
Tropical Cyclone Bejisa has claimed the life of one person and injured at least 15 others on the French Indian Ocean island of Reunion. The eye of the Cyclone passed within 15 kilometres of the western side of Reunion.

Heavy storm in Santiago del Estero, in the north of Argentina has claimed the life of a girl. Heavy rains and hailstones also hit the area causing damage to buildings.
Several rivers have burst their banks and flood protection systems are taking a battering as a tidal surge hits the Wales coastline. In the UK, many major roads were flooded, while trains to and from Gatwick Airport in West Sussex were among those affected by storm-related problems.
