Earthquake triggers fire in South African Gold Mine
A magnitude 2.4 earthquake at the Doornkop gold mine west of Johannesburg, South Africa, triggered a rockfall 1.7 kilometres underground, causing a fire which has claimed lives of eight people. one person is still unaccounted for.
