Tropical Storms - Roundup of Tropical Storms:

In the Northwest Pacific Ocean: Tropical depression 03w (Three), located approximately 319 nm northwest of Yap, Micronesia, is tracking northward at 05 knots.

In the North Indian Ocean: Tropical cyclone 02a (Two), located approximately 657 nm southeast of Masirah island, is tracking northward at 03 knots.

Turkey - Heavy rainfall has caused significant flooding in several provinces in the Black Sea region of Turkey, including Kastamonu, Samsun, Amasya, and Sinop. Tragically, fatalities have been reported in Samsun and Amasya due to the flooding.Bozkurt district recorded a significant 127.5 mm of rainfall in a 24-hour period up until 05 June, while İnebolu recorded 99.6 mm during the same period.

Ukraine - The Kakhovka dam spanning the Dnipro river in southern Ukraine was breached on Tuesday, flooding swaths of territory ahead of an expected Ukrainian counteroffensive and threatening crucial water supplies to a nuclear power plant. Russia and Ukraine blamed each other for the damage, which Kyiv warned would have “catastrophic consequences” and affect dozens of settlements as well as the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which relies on water flow from the reservoir upstream of the dam to cool the reactors.
