Typhoon 22w (Hagupit), located approximately 91 nm west-southwest of Yap, and is tracking west-northwestward at 18 knots.
Prior to reaching the Philippine Sea, Hagupit will bear down on the island of Yap during the first part of Wednesday night (local time).

California, USA - Season's biggest storm has caused lightning, flooding and snow in Northern California. Rain pelted the Bay Area for the fifth consecutive day on Tuesday, causing a flurry of car wrecks, flooding and mudslide watches. Similarly, the strongest rainstorm this year hit the San Francisco Bay Area with 1.5 inches rainfall in Marin County and 1.2 inches in San Francisco. It is believed to be the wettest storm since 2009 for the Bay Area.
