Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) – Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, health officials have reported five Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) cases during the first two months of 2021. Of these five cases, all were primary cases, of whom three reported contact with camels. These five cases were reported in Riyadh (2), Makkah (2) and Eastern Province (1).
