Dengue Fever - Nepal

In a follow-up on the dengue fever situation in Nepal this year, the country’s Epidemiology and Disease Control Division reports 46,768 dengue cases through October.

Yellow Fever - Kenya

According to the Kenya Ministry of Health, an outbreak of yellow fever was confirmed in two (2) counties– Isiolo and Garissa. Suspected cases have been reported from other ten (10) counties. A total of 141 suspected cases have been reported.

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever - South Africa

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported the third confirmed human case in the country in 2022.

Cholera - Lebanon

The Lebanon Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reported 400 confirmed cholera cases in all eight governorates since the first case was confirmed in early October. Since the first case was confirmed on October 5, nearly 1900 suspected cases and confirmed cases have been reported across the country, including 17 confirmed deaths.
