The countries with the 10 greatest number of Covid-19 cases:
Cholera - Africa (Malawi)
Between 1-29 January this year, an alarming 26 000 cases and 660 deaths were reported in 10 African countries, which represents 30% of last year's caseload. The majority of the newly reported cases and fatalities are from Malawi, which is experiencing its worst cholera outbreak in 20 years. All the 29 districts of Malawi have been affected by cholera and cumulatively, as of 8 February, 40 284 cases have recorded with 1 316 deaths. On average, daily, Malawi is recording just over 500 cases. The majority, who are succumbing to cholera, were people aged above 50, while those affected were in the range of 10-59 years.
