Hot Saturday sparks fresh Victoria fires. Victorian firefighters have been kept busy battling two major fires in the state's east, whilst also tackling a flurry of blazes closer to Melbourne.
Western Australia's Health Department has issued a heat wave warning for Perth and warned people to remain indoors and hydrated.
Flooding in Perth, Australia
-Heavy storm caused flooding in Mandurah and Rockingham area.
-More bad weather is predicted across South West WA, including Perth. -Homes have lost power in Mandurah.
Flooding in Jupiter, Florida, USA
-Strong storm hit Palm Beach County and also caused flooding in Jupiter.
-The main roadways in Jupiter were unsafe to travel due to flood water.

-Thirteen killed in DR Congo floods. Floods destroyed several houses in southern Brazzaville.
Landslide in Sukabumi, Indonesia
-One killed in landslide in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia. Twentyone others are reported to be missing.
-Torrential rain triggered a landslide at the mountainous site in Sukabumi.
-They were collecting trace amounts of gold at the illegal mine in Sukabumi.
Tornadoes in Louisiana, Florida and Alabama, USA
-EF1 tornado touched down in Baker. Tornado destroyed several buildings in Ascension Parish.
-A tornado with maximum winds estimated at 90 mph hit Birmingham, Alabama.
-Strong wind damaged 40 houses near Edgewater, Volusia County (Florida) between Edgewater and Oak Hill.
-Tornado damages 40 homes in southeast Volusia, Florida.
Snow emergency has been declared in Ashland, Washburn area of Wisconsin, USA.
Cold wave in Olintepeque, Guatemala
-Two killed due to cold wave in Olintepeque city of Guatemala.
An "atmospheric river," a weather phenomenon which channels tropical moisture all the way across the Pacific Ocean like a 'river of storms' is heading for California, USA. Sometimes called a "pineapple express," these storms are viewed by weather experts as California's equivalent of a hurricane. Weather experts say Sacramento could see 4 to 8 inches of rain, and the mountains of the Northern Sierra Nevada and Shasta regions could be deluged with 12 to 18 inches of rainfall.
A brutal storm has left more than 50,000 homes in Perth and regional Western Australia without power, as emergency services scrambled to cope with widespread damage to schools, heritage buildings and homes across the state.
Flooding in Denbighshire, Wales
-One killed in flooding in St Asaph, Denbighshire, Wales.
-Around 500 people evacuated in the Welsh city of St Asaph after the river Elwy burst its banks.
-Several roads in Worcestershire, County Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland are closed.
-Some schools in Conwy and Denbighshire in Wales are also closed.
-Almost 500 flood warnings and alerts remain in place today in North East England and North Wales.
Snowstorm in Hokkaido, Japan
-Hokkaido snowstorm left about 37,000 houses without electricity.
-About 90 trains and 10 domestic flights were canceled due to the storm.
