Flash floods in the Faryab region of Afghanistan have claimed the lives of seven people. The road between Balcheragh district to the provincial capital has been washed away.
Avalanches in Cascade mountains east of Seattle, Washington State, USA
At least two people are reported to be missing in two separate avalanches in the Cascade mountains in Washington State. The avalanches occurred near the Snoqualmie Pass east of Seattle.
