Cambodia - Flooding in the southern Kandal province in Cambodia has claimed the lives of eight people. The flooding hit seven Cambodian provinces along the Mekong River and Tonle Sap Lake. More than 4, 000 families have been evacuated from their submerged homes to higher ground.
India - Flash flood in the Kotli district of Jammu and Kashmir has claimed the lives of three brothers after they were washed away in the floodwaters of a local stream.
Sudan - Heavy rain and flooding in Sudan have claimed the lives of at least 17 people over the past five days. Flooding has displaced 42,000 people over the past week in Unity state’s Mayom county, with Khartoum being most affected.
Japan - A landslide in Anan, Tokushima Prefecture in Japan has claimed the life of a person. Around 550,000 people have been ordered to evacuate in the Kochi, Tokushima and Ehime regions after the deadly mudslide.
Nepal - Landslides triggered by heavy rainfall have swept away four houses at Nayakbada-2, Jiri in the Jajarkot district of Nepal. Properties worth millions of rupees have been damaged in the landslides.
