Honduras - A landslide at a gold mine has trapped 11 workers. The landslide occurred at a gold mine in San Juan Arriba in a vertical tunnel at a depth of about 80 m (260 ft).

India - A landslide at Surai Toda in Chamoli district of India has claimed the lives of two people.

New York, USA - Several roads and highways have been closed by flooding as severe thunderstorms rolled through eastern New York.
