Netherlands - The first autumn storm of the year has caused flooding along the Wadden Sea in the Netherlands. Some ferryboats services from and to the Wadden Sea islands have been cancelled due to the high water. Street flooding have been recorded at various locations in and around Rotterdam. Due to the high water, the Eastern Scheldt storm surge barrier and the Dutch IJssel barrier were closed on Tuesday night.

Slovenia - Slovenia was hit by the third major flood this year with the worst disruption reported from Ljubljana. In eight hours, 137 millimetres of rainfall was registered in Ljubljana and over 200 mm in Gorenja Vas. At least 900 buildings in the Ljubljana basin were flooded. Power outages have affected 17,000 households in the Štajersko region. About 20,000 lightning strikes were recorded by the Marko Vidmar Electric Power Research Institute during the past night.

Washington, USA - A rare tornado hit the city of Longview in Washington state Thursday ripping down power lines and damaging properties. The tornado touched down briefly near an elementary school in Longview.
