Nepal - Heavy rainfall has claimed the lives of three people and triggered a landslide in Yanchu village in Humla, Nepal which has blocked the Karnali river. Residents have been advised to move to higher ground as the river waters rise.
India - An avalanche in the Himachal Pradesh region in India has claimed the lives of four people including an infant and a mother.
Germany - A tornado in Hesse, in western Germany has injured two people. The tornado also left at least 16 houses without roofs and has affected the phone and power connections in the area.
