Jakarta, Indonesia - Several areas in Jakarta have faced flooding after heavy rain on Tuesday evening caused the Ciliwung River to burst its banks in some areas. Seven districts and eight subdistricts in South Jakarta and East Jakarta have been affected by floods, with the water level between 10 to 100 centimetres high, the Jakarta Natural Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) stated on Wednesday.
