In the East Pacific: Invest 90E is an area of disturbed weather in the East Pacific that has the potential for further tropical development.

In the South Pacific: Tropical cyclone 18p (Donna), located approximately 138 nm north-northeast of Noumea, New Caledonia, is tracking southeastward at 09 knots.

Tropical cyclone (tc) 19p (Nineteen), located approximately 141 nm west-southwest of Pago Pago, American Samoa, is tracking west-northwestward at 05 knots.

Iran - Four women have gone missing and two more been injured following flooding in a southwestern Iranian province, caused by downpours. The flooding happened on Sunday in Lordegan County of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. Torrential rains had also damaged bridges and infrastructure in Darreh-Yas Village of the province’s Kouhrang County. The floods and thunderstorms of the past days have also left the province’s nomadic tribes faced with complexities and claimed some of their livestock.

Kenya - At least six people have died and hundreds of families in Mombasa, Kilifi and Taita Taveta displaced by floods following heavy rains. The family members died after perimeter wall collapsed on them at Mbaraki area. Other areas affected include Bombolulu, Kiembeni, Bamburi and Likoni. The floods have also paralysed transport between Mombasa and Kilifi after Mbogolo river bridge was washed away. In Taita Taveta, atleast 5,000 people have been displaced by the ranging floods in Taveta sub-county.
