USA CDC to Cut Disease Prevention Funding by 80%

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is rolling back its epidemic prevention programs in 39 out of 49 countries due to a lack of funding from the Trump Administration. This could pose a grave danger to the United States and other countries because it "would significantly increase the chance an epidemic will spread without our knowledge and with less scientific oversight”.
