California - USA - A flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Yosemite National Park as heavy rains move in across the northern parts of the State. The flood watch is expected to stay in effect through Sunday. Visitors to the Park were evacuated ahead of the floods which also threaten mudslides in the wildfire ravaged wine country.
Saudi Arabia - Heavy rains and floods hit Al-Jouf Province on Friday. Some houses were submerged in water while several cars were trapped between roadblocks unable to get out.
