Jordan - Amman – the Jordanian capital was hit the hardest by a weekend of torrential rains and floods across Jordan. At least 13 people are reported to have died in the floodwaters. According to previous civil defense statements, 28 citizens have drowned in rain-induced floods across the kingdom in the last four months.

Afghanistan - Flash floods have swept away dozens of homes and inundated handreds of acres of farmland in western Farah province, an official said on Sunday. Meanwhile, heavy snowfall has closed roads connecting districts to provincial capital in Afghanistan's central-eastern province of Ghazni. Between 60 and 150 centimetres of snow has fallen in Ghazni, the provincial governor’s office said in a statement. Kabul was also a witness to heavy snowfall over the last couple of days. Meanwhile, flooding was also reported in southern Kandahar province following heavy rain.

Balochistan - On Saturday, it was reported that life is crippled in Balochistan amid torrential rainfall and snowfall in different areas of the province, particularly Chagai district. Security forces have been moved to assist the civil administration in rescue and relief operations for flood victims in various parts of Balochistan. Approximately 1,500 families have been rescued in Dureji, Lasbela, and Qillah Abdulla areas, while rations have been provided to 3,500 families in the rain-affected areas.
