In the Southern Hemisphere: Tropical cyclone (tc) 23s (Wallace), located approximately 366 nm north of Learmonth, Australia, is tracking westward at 03 knots.

Oregon, USA - Heavy rain across northwest Oregon has brought flooding to multiple rivers and spurred evacuations in some parts of the state. Rainfall totals ranged from 3 to 6 inches in 48 hours and brought numerous rivers and creeks up to their banks, particularly in the southern and central Willamette Valley. The heaviest flooding is occurring in the Eugene area, where evacuation orders were issued Sunday night. The Santiam River in Jefferson is also near flood levels.
