Wildfires - Australia
Firefighters have worked through the night to battle an out-of-control bushfire that had threatened Braidwood east of Canberra late on Friday night. The fire in Tallaganda National Park, which was started by lightning on Tuesday, covered more than 19,000 hectares on the latest RFS estimate at 2am yesterday.
This is the heartbreaking moment a kangaroo is almost burned to death after it was caught in a wire fence fleeing a bushfire.
