Anthrax – Kyrgyzstan
Anthrax was detected in four hospitalized citizens of the Jalal-Abad region, Kyrgyzstan, Turmush reported on September 29. Residents of the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region killed a sick cow on September 16. The meat was distributed to neighbours – more than 100 people ate it.
