Monkeypox

Germany – In Germany, the first cases of monkeypox were identified in May 2022. The number of cases has now risen to 5.

Argentina – A resident of the province of Buenos Aires consulted today at a health care provider in the City of Buenos Aires with symptoms compatible with monkeypox presenting with pustules on different parts of the body and fever.

Norway – The Norwegian Institute of Public Health has received information that a foreign person who visited Oslo from 6 to 10 May has since had monkey pox confirmed in his home country. Portugal – In a follow-up on the monkeypox clusters in Portugal, The Directorate-General for Health (DGS) informs that 14 more cases of human infection by Monkeypox virus have been confirmed in Portugal, with 37 confirmed cases so far in the North, Lisbon and Tagus Valley and Algarve regions.

Hand, foot and mouth disease – Malaysia
