In the Southern Indian Ocean:
Tropical cyclone Ita is located approximately 531 nm northeast of Cairns, Australia. Tropical storm Ita is forecast to strike Australia as a tropical cyclone at about 10:00 GMT on 11 April.
In the Western Pacific:
Tropical depression Peipah is located approximately 759 nm southeast of Manila, Philippines.
Tropical Storm Domeng (international name Peipah) has weakened into a tropical depression but may still cause storm surges in the Philippines. Storm surge warnings are up in over 100 areas.

USA - Much of the South was facing the threat of severe storms, including possible tornadoes, through Monday night. Tornado watches were issued for Louisiana, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
