Wildfires

Wildfires - Scotland

A blaze broke out at Raon Na Cuile, near Lochinver, shortly before 10pm and spread to a three mile front across the hillside.

Another wildfire restarted at Dalnabreac near Acharacle after firefighters appeared to have brought it under control yesterday evening. It initially started at about 12.30pm yesterday and spread to a size of about 500 acres at its peak.

Both wildfires were under control but wind conditions were making it difficult for the firefighters. No structures have been affected by either wildfire.
