In the Southern Hemisphere: Tropical Cyclone 01s (Dahlia), located approximately 710 nm north-northwest of Learmonth, Australia, is tracking east-southeastward at 04 knots.

Australia - Parts of Melbourne experienced flash flooding from heavy thunderstorms which are moving across the state. Some trains were affected, with delays on the Hurstbridge and Frankston lines after flooding at Ivanhoe station, and areas near Highett, Mordialloc and Aspendale. The Melbourne to Albury line was closed as a precaution and roads were closed around the state.
Albania - At least one person has died during heavy rainfall that flooded many parts of Albania, paralyzing its ports and causing flights from its only international airport to be suspended, authorities said Friday. Three other people were injured and 18 houses were destroyed in weather-related incidents over the past 24 hours, the government said in a statement. Many roads remained blocked across the Balkan country, while some 71,000 residents were affected by power cuts.
