In the western Pacific: Tropical Storm (td) 03w (Jelawat), located approximately 103 nm north of Pagan, is tracking northeastward at 10 knots.
In the southern hemisphere: Tropical cyclone 18p (Josie), located approximately 128 nm south-southwest of Suva, Fiji, is tracking south-southeastward at 04 knots.

Greece - A state of emergency has been declared in parts of northern Greece after a swollen River Evros broke its banks, causing widespread flooding. The village of Praggi was among the areas in Evros prefecture affected by the floodwaters earlier this week. Now, the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace regions have been declared to be in a state of emergency as the authorities attempt to prevent more damage from the rising floodwaters.
UK - Britons are battling yet another lashing of wintry conditions as sub-zero snow showers caused a wrath of floods across the country in what’s being dubbed the Easter Weekend Washout. So far, five weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office following teeth-chattering snow showers and violent flash floods relentlessly battering the UK an eye-watering 48 hours on. Banks burst up and down the country putting lives in danger and wreaking havoc on homes.
India - A reservoir in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district breached its danger mark on Saturday, leading to floods in villages around it, a district official said. There was no loss of life or cattle.
