Tropical Storms - Roundup of Tropical Storms:
In the Western Pacific Ocean: Tropical storm 24w (Halong), located approximately 566 nm east of Andersen AFB, Guam, is tracking northwestward at 11 knots.
In the Indian Ocean: Tropical cyclone (tc) 05a (Maha), located approximately 442 nm south of Karachi, Pakistan, is tracking northwestward at 06 knots.

New York, USA - A severe Halloween storm caused widespread flood damage in the Mohawk Valley region of New York. One man died in the floodwaters and extensive damage to property occurred. One video caught a house floating away down river.
UK - Dozens of trees were toppled, power cables cut and scaffolding was blown down on top of cars as many parts of southern England came in for a pounding. And hurricane-force winds hit 109mph on the Isle of Wight. All passenger services in and out of Dover have been suspended because of the high winds. Train services in Dorset were hit with a 50mph speed limit as reports of trees and other debris across the tracks were being investigated. The Environmental Agency currently has nine flood warnings in place with 67 flood alerts.
India - Tropical Cyclone Maha is moving north along the southwestern coast of India, and unleashing heavy to very heavy rainfall over Kerala, coastal Karnataka and south Tamil Nadu.
