The countries with the 10 greatest number of Covid-19 cases:
Monkeypox, Typhoid, Plague – DR Congo
From 1 January – 28 July 2022, the Democratic Republic of the Congo reported 2,266 suspected including 163 confirmed cases from 116 health zones across 20 provinces.
In 2022, from the beginning of the year to 10 July 2022, 1,021,535 suspected cases of typhoid fever including 471 deaths were recorded in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
DRC reports 537 suspected plague cases in the health zone of Rethy, located in Djugu territory, Ituri province, DR Congo for the four month period of 27 Mar 2022 to 31 Jul 2022.
Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic Fever – Iraq
In a brief statement, the ministry stated that the number of hemorrhagic fever cases rose to 273, while 49 deaths were recorded.
