In the Eastern Pacific: Invest 94E is an area of disturbed weather in the East Pacific that has the potential for further tropical development.

In the Western Pacific: Tropical storm 08w (Conson), located approximately 222 nm south of Minami Tori Shima, Japan, and is tracking northeastward at 07 knots.

India - The Army on Tuesday launched fresh operations to rescue villagers stranded in flash floods in Rajasthan especially in four districts - Pali , Jodhpur, Bhilwara , Chittorgarh - where low lying areas are completely inundated and where the heavy rains have killed 11 people, including six children and rendered hundreds homeless. Rains have also led to a flood-like situation in many other parts of Rajasthan, especially in the south and south west districts. The rains have flooded fields and farmers are suffering heavy losses from destroyed crops.
