Malaysia - Flash floods caused by continuous rainfall hit several areas in Kuala Lumpur affecting a number of major roads and causing some damages in the area.
Italy - Residents of Castelletto d'Orba, in Italy's north-west, woke up to havoc and destruction on Tuesday (October 22) after heavy rains caused the Rio Albara, normally a tiny stream, to burst its banks and flood the small town. The flash floods occurred on Monday evening (October 21) and forced the town's mayor to temporarily evacuate around 50 people. Elsewhere in the northern Piemonte region, the bad weather caused the death of one man as his car was washed away in a flood.
Washington, USA - Flooded rivers are causing problems across parts of Western Washington, and waters are still rising as heavy rain struck the region overnight. The Tolt and Skykomish Rivers will reach moderate flood stage, and the Snohomish River is forecast to rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon. In the town of Carnation, the water was making driving dangerous.
