In the Atlantic Ocean: Tropical Storm Zeta is located about 210 mi…340 km se of Cozumel Mexico with maximum sustained winds…70 mph…110 km/h. Present movement…nw or 315 degrees at 9 mph…15 km/h.

In the Western Pacific Ocean: Tropical depression 19w (Soudel), located approximately 117 nm north-northwest of De Nang, Vietnam, is tracking northwestward at 03 knots.

Typhoon 21w (Molave), located approximately 139 nm west-southwest of Manila, Philippines, is tracking west-northwestward at 15 knots.

Australia – Severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain and strong winds to parts of New South Wales, Australia, from 23 October 2020. Flooding and wind damage disrupted traffic. Power supply was interrupted in some areas.

Jamaica – At least 2 people have died after heavy rain caused floods and landslides in Jamaica. Jamaica’s Meteorological Service issued several warnings for heavy rain and flash floods over the weekend from the “outer bands from Tropical Storm Zeta, over the northwestern Caribbean Sea, were contributing to the rainfall over Jamaica.

Bangladesh – Heavy rainfall in Bangladesh caused flooding in low lying areas of Bagerhat District, Khulna Division from 23 October. According to local media, 38,000 people have been affected, although local authorities have yet to complete full damage assessments. Local authorities have distributed relief items including food rations. Flooding has caused damage to livelihoods, in particular to thousands of shrimp enclosures which have been swept away.
