In the Western Pacific Ocean: Typhoon 21w (Molave), located approximately 332 nm east-southeast of De Nang, Vietnam, is tracking westward at 13 knots.

Philippines – At least 16 people are thought to be dead or missing in the Philippines as a result of Tropical Cyclone “Molave” (known locally as “Quinta”), including several people swept away by flood waters in Negros Oriental in Central Visayas region and Romblon in Mimaropa region. Molave made landfall over southern Luzon close to Lagazpi City, Bicol Region, on 25 October as a typhoon with maximum sustained wind speeds of around 140 km/h. Heavy rain was reported in several areas of the country, including Legazpi which recorded 282.8mm of rain in 24 hours to 25 October and Romblon which recorded 138 mm the following day.

Indonesia – Flooding has damaged almost 1,500 homes in parts of West Java Province, Indonesia, over the last few days in the cities of Depok and Bekasi.
