Tropical Storms – Roundup of Tropical Storms:

In the Eastern Pacific Ocean: Hurricane 06e (Felicia), located approximately 1141 nm south-southwest of San Diego, is tracking west-southwestward at 08 knots.

Tropical storm 07e (Guillermo), located approximately 968 nm south-southeast of San Diego, is tracking west- northwestward at 10 knots.

In the Northwest Pacific Ocean: Tropical storm 09w (In-Fa), located approximately 327 nm southeast of Kadena AFB, is tracked north-northwestward at 05 knots.

Oman – At least 4 people have died, 3 are missing and dozens have been rescued by emergency services after flash floods in Oman following days of heavy rainfall. In 48 hours to 17 July, the city port of Sur in Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate recorded 204.4 mm of rain. At least 30 families were evacuated from flooded homes in Sur on 17 July where power supply has been interrupted. Heavy rain and floods also affected other areas of the country. Evacuations were also carried out in Falaj Al Qabail in North Al Batinah Governorate after homes were flooded.

Luxembourg – Dozens of people were evacuated and emergency services responded to more than 1,000 calls for help after flooding in Luxembourg following heavy rain on 14 July 2021. The government said material damage is significant. After initially warning residents in affected areas to stay in their homes, over 150 people were evacuated in Echternach, which is situated on the Sauer / Sûre river on the border with Germany. Evacuations were also reported in Rosport.
