Tropical Storms – Roundup of Tropical Storms:

In the Northwest Pacific Ocean: Typhoon 09w (In-Fa), located approximately 208 nm south-southwest of Kadena AFB, is tracking westward at 02 knots.

Tropical depression 10w (Cempaka), located approximately 165 nm northeast of Hanoi, Vietnam, is tracking west-southwestward at 06 knots.

Pakistan – Over 20 people have died in rain-related incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in northern Pakistan over the last 10 days. Many of the victims died when heavy rain or floods caused roofs, walls or whole buildings to collapse. This is a regular occurrence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where fragile or poor housing leaves many communities exposed to severe weather conditions.

Romania – One person has died and dozens evacuated or rescued by emergency services after heavy rain and storms caused flooding and wind damage across parts of Romania over the last few days. Dozens of homes and roads have been flooded as a result of heavy rain from 18 July. IGSU reported 60 people were evacuated in Lerești, Argeș County and 8 in Busteni in Prahova County on 20 July. The previous day 14 people had to be rescued from 6 vehicles trapped in flood water on a road between between Durău and Grințieș in Neamț County. Evacuations were also carried out in Bistra in Alba County. Flooding and landslides have affected Alba County since 15 July. Over thirty homes were flooded and more than 20 people evacuated, mostly in areas around Ocoliş.
