Indonesia - Floods in Indonesia's Aceh province in the northern tip of Sumatra Island have displaced more than 120,966 people. The waters submerged by up to 400 cm high in the districts of North Aceh and East Aceh. Floods have mainly affected the provincial capital of Banda Aceh, the districts of Aceh Tamiang, South Aceh, Pidie, and Lhoksemawe.

Malaysia - The floods ravaging five states in Malaysia have displaced 90,250 people. It is the biggest number of flood evacuees in the nation's history. The highest number of flood evacuees are in Kelantan (32,343), followed by Terengganu (28,991), Pahang (24,316), Perak (4,335) and Perlis (265). The 102 local and foreign tourists stranded at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort got relief when the Fire and Rescue Department arrived with much needed food supplies. Apart from Malaysians, the tourists were from Germany, France, Canada and the Czech Republic. The park witnessed its highest rainfall on Tuesday since 1971.
