Alaska - Officials are keeping a close eye on a glacier outburst flood in Juneau, where a campground has already been evacuated because of rising water.

Philippines - After an hour of rain in Cebu, several areas in the province were flooded on Friday, July 1. State weather agency Pagasa issued a thunderstorm warning over several cities and municipalities in Cebu. Waist-deep floods were reported on in several areas in Cebu City. The floods triggered vehicular gridlock at intersections throughout the city.

India - At least 30 people have lost their lives in northern India due to heavy flooding and landslides caused by torrential rain, officials say.
