Typhoon 11w (Krosa) is located approximately 115 nm south of Iwo To, is tracking west-northwestward at 05 knots.

China - At least 13 people have been killed and more than a million forced from their homes as Typhoon Lekima hit China. Sixteen people were also missing after a landslide was triggered by the storm. Lekima made landfall in the early hours of Saturday in Wenling, between Taiwan and China's financial capital Shanghai. The storm was initially designated a "super typhoon", but weakened slightly before landfall - when it still had winds of 187km/h (116mph).
India - At least 28 people have died in Kerala after torrential monsoon rains caused landslides and flooding that cut off some areas, authorities said on Friday. More than 64,000 people were evacuated and Cochin International Airport, the busiest airport in a state popular with tourists, was closed. In the latest flooding, several dozen people were feared to have been trapped after landslides in Wayanad and Malappuram districts. Kerala received 155 mm (6.1 inches) of rain on Friday, ten times more than average, weather department data showed.
