Turkey – At least one person died and three others are missing after flash floods in Artvin province in northeastern Turkey. It is thought the victims are construction workers who were working on the dam along the Artvin-Yusufeli highway. Other workers have been evacuated. At least 2 people lost their lives in further flooding and landslides in Çayeli district of Rize Province in north eastern Turkey on 13 July.

Malaysia – Over 250 people have been displaced by flooding in Malaysia‘s central Negeri Sembilan state. The state recorded heavy rainfall on 13 July, which caused rivers to break their banks and overwhelmed drainage systems. Flooding affected the districts of Port Dickson, Rembau and Seremban. As of late 13 July, 282 people had moved to evacuation centres in Seremban and Port Dickson. The Linggi River at Sua Betong, Port Dickson district, rose by over 3 metres in a few hours on 13 July, peaking at 7.2 metres. Danger level is 5.8 metres.
