Nishinoshima | Japan : Based on satellite data and pilot observations (on 8 July), the Tokyo VAAC reported that during 8-14 July ash plumes from Nishinoshima rose to 3.7-6.1 km (12,000-20,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted NW, N, NE, and E.
Turrialba | Costa Rica : OVSICORI-UNA reported that passive emissions with minor amounts of ash were occasionally visible at Turrialba during 9-10 July.
