Roundup of Global Volcanic Activity – New Activity for the week 16 February – 22 February 2022
Sangeang Api – N of Sumbawa Island : The Darwin VAAC reported that on 17 February ash plumes from Sangeang Api rose to altitudes of 4-4.9 km (13,000-16,000 ft) a.s.l. and drifted SW and WSW. The Alert Level remained at 2 (on a scale of 1-4).
