Roundup of Global Volcanic Activity
Fogo (Cape Verde): The eruption continues. A new lava flow that appeared last night is heading again towards the village of Portela, which it might hit in less than 2 days. At the eruptive fissure, 3 vents seem to still be active and explosive activity has decreased a lot. The eruption continues to be dominated by lava effusion.
