Super typhoon 06w (Noul), located approximately 412 nm southwest of Yokosuka, Japan is tracking northeastward at 51 knots.
Tropical storm 07w (Dolphin), located approximately 791 nm east-southeast of Andersen AFB, is tracking westward at 06 knots.

Nepal - The windstorm has damaged around 450 houses in the Far-Western region of Nepal. The hardest hit is Kailali where 286 houses were damaged. In a separate incident, a lightning strike has claimed the life of one person and injured five others in Nilkantha municipality-11 of Dhading district.
New Zealand - A tornado has caused damage in Taranaki town, near New Plymouth, ripping off a roof and uprooting trees. In Wellington, heavy rainfall caused major flooding in the city.
