Tropical Storms - Roundup of Tropical Storms:

Typhoon 07w (Dolphin), located approximately 245 nm south-southwest of Iwo To, Japan, is tracking northward at 08 knots.

USA - A powerful storm system stretching from Texas to Minnesota brought flash flood warnings early Sunday after kicking up at least 29 damaging tornadoes overnight and pounding the region with baseball-sized hail. Thousands of customers were without power but there were no immediate reports of any deaths or injuries. Tornadoes touched down Saturday in southwestern Oklahoma near the towns of Elmer and Tipton. Another tornado touched down briefly near Elk City along Interstate 40, and there were several other possible tornadoes. The severe weather damaged homes, and downed power lines and entire barns across the Plains states. Thirty-four cars of a cargo train derailed and toppled over in Lyon County, Kansas, after stopping because of the severe weather.

Missouri, USA - The small town of Mosby, Missouri, wound up under water Sunday morning, prompting a request for the entire community to evacuate.

India - Eight people are feared dead, with another 200 people stranded, after a flash flood struck a forest river near Bhadrairuppu in the Virudhunagar district on Sunday night. Heavy rain has led to the flash flood, which has also severely hampered rescue operations. Thousands of pilgrims from all parts of the state had travelled to the the Saduragiri temple to perform rituals on Amavasi day.
