Diphtheria - South Africa
The outbreak of diphtheria in KwaZulu-Natal, which has claimed the lives of four people, appears to be under control, according to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD). i5 cases of diphtheria were identified by public health services in KZN, the majority of which are children under the age of 15.
