Streptococcus Suis - Thailand

The Thailand Department of Disease Control (DDC) has reported 265 Streptococcus suis cases this year through August 17, including 23 deaths. The disease were mostly found in the northern regions followed by the northeastern regions.

Measles - New Zealand

Measles is circulating in New Zealand, particularly in the Auckland region. From 1 January 2019 to 5 September 2019 there have been 1051 confirmed cases of measles notified across New Zealand. 877 of these confirmed cases are in the Auckland region.

Dengue Fever - Palau

In a follow-up on the dengue outbreak in Palau, the Palau Ministry of Health reported 26 new cases during the past week, bringing the outbreak total to 570 cases since Dec. 2018. There have been two deaths attributed to dengue infection during this outbreak.
