COVID-19

Worldwide fatalities are over 43,200. More than 862,000 people have been infected.

USA – The number of people infected with the virus in the United States hit more than 189 600 000, according to a Johns Hopkins University tally, with the number of fatalities surpassing 4,000.

New York – New York reported almost 7,000 new cases of the virus, bringing the total to over 75,000. Most of the cases were in New York City, where, officials reported more than 40 000 people had been infected with 1,096 deaths. Some 1,550 deaths have been recorded statewide.

Italy – The country’s total cases is 105,792. More deaths were also reported bringing the total to 12,428.

Germany – The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany has reached 71,808. Meanwhile, the death toll rose to 775.

Iran – Iran’s death toll from the new coronavirus has increased to 2,898. Total cases have reached 44,605.

Spain – Spain’s coronavirus death toll rose to 8,464. The total number of infections rose to 95,932.

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever – Pakistan

Officials with Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) in Karachi are reporting two cases of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) in Sindh province in a week.
