COVID-19

Worldwide fatalities are over 64,849. More than 1,204,000 people have been infected.

USA – The number of people infected with the virus in the United States hit more than 311 600 000, according to a Johns Hopkins University tally, with the number of fatalities surpassing 8,492.

New York – New York City has reported 2,254 deaths from nearly 63,305 cases. Some 3,568 deaths have been recorded statewide from 114,996 cases.

Italy – The country’s total cases is 124,632. More deaths were also reported bringing the total to 15,362.

Germany – The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany has reached 96,000. Meanwhile, the death toll rose to over 1,446.

Spain – Spain reported 12,419 deaths with over 130,700 cases.

France – France has confirmed nearly 68,605 cases of the coronavirus with 7,560 deaths.

UK – The UK has now recorded 41,903 cases and the death toll has risen to 4,313.

Brazil – Following the Brazilian President’s disparaging attitude towards Covid-19, the Brazil Ministry of Health reported today that the number of coronavirus disease 2019, or COVID-19 cases in the country is now 10,278. There were 1,222 new confirmations in 24 hours. The number of deaths has also increased, now there are 432. Most are in São Paulo, which has seen 260 deaths. Health practitioners have stated there are ‘MANY more’ cases.

Covid-19 Cure?

A collaborative study led by Monash University‘s Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) in Melbourne, Australia, with the Peter Doherty Institute of Infection and Immunity (Doherty Institute), has shown that an anti-parasitic drug already available around the world, Ivermectin, kills the virus within 48 hours.

Measles – Bangladesh

Health officials in Bangladesh report battling a measles outbreak amidst the current COVID-19 outbreak in the country. Officials say an outbreak of measles has claimed the lives of 8 children and infected more than 300 people in Sajek union, Baghaichhari Upazila in Rangamati District.
