COVID-19

Worldwide fatalities are over 69,529. More than 1,276,302 people have been infected.

USA – The number of people infected with the virus in the United States hit more than 337 300 000, according to a Johns Hopkins University tally, with the number of fatalities surpassing 9,643.

New York – New York City has reported 2,472 deaths from nearly 67,552 cases. Some 4,161 deaths have been recorded statewide from 122,911 cases.

Italy – The country’s total cases is 128,948. More deaths were also reported bringing the total to 15,887.

Germany – The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany has reached 100,132. Meanwhile, the death toll rose to over 1,584.

Spain – Spain reported 13,055 deaths with over 135,000 cases.

France – France has confirmed nearly 70,478 cases of the coronavirus with 8,078 deaths.

UK – The UK has now recorded 47,806 cases and the death toll has risen to 4,932.

Iran – The death toll in Iran from the coronavirus outbreak has reached 3,739, from 60,500 cases.

Russia – Russia’s coronavirus case tally has risen to 6,343 in the past 24 hours, a record daily increase of 954, the country’s crisis response centre has said. At least 47 people have died across the country.

Positive Tiger

A tiger at New York’s Bronx Zoo has tested positive for the new coronavirus, in what is believed to be the first known infection in an animal in the United States or a tiger anywhere in the world, federal officials and the zoo said.

Measles – Mexico

Health officials in Mexico are reporting a measles outbreak that has affected 101, including 87 cases in Mexico City, according to a La Silla Rota report.
