Pakistani officials reported two additional wild polio cases this week in children in North Waziristan. One case proved fatal.
Measles – Afghanistan
In a follow-up on the measles outbreak in Afghanistan, UNICEF reports between January and the end of May 2022, there were 50,433 reported cases of measles and 309 deaths.
Monkeypox – USA
San Diego County health officials reported Wednesday that two probable cases of monkeypox have been identified.
