The countries with the 10 greatest number of Covid-19 cases:

Monkeypox

Taiwan – The Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced today the first confirmed case of imported monkeypox. The case is a man in his 20s from southern Taiwan who went to study in Germany from January to June this year.

Brazil – Brazil currently registers a total of 17 confirmed cases of monkeypox – 11 in São Paulo, two in Rio Grande do Sul and four in Rio de Janeiro. Another ten cases are still under investigation.

Colombia – The Colombia Ministry of Health confirm three cases of monkeypox in the national territory.

Florida, USA – According to the latest data from the Florida Department of Health through June 24, 25 monkeypox cases have been reported from eight counties.

North Carolina, USA – The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services has reported the first case of monkeypox virus infection in a North Carolina resident

Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever – Iraq

In a follow-up on the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) outbreak in Iraq this year, the Ministry of Health announced Friday that the total number of hemorrhagic fever cases has risen to 208.

Anthrax – Mongolia

According to a Xinhua report this week, a human anthrax case has been reported in Uvs province in western Mongolia. The case is a 37-year-old nomadic herder from Undurkhangai soum of the province.
